After calling him and his father cowards for the past month? Duemig shouldn't have the right to apologize to the Millers.

Duemig did what he did to whip up hysteria on Fowler Avenue and drive the story.

He got his goal - a fired Leavitt, and now wisely retracts everything and goes about his business.

It would be nice if Miller and McMurphy were as congenial.

please don't act like getting leavitt fired was Joel's goal... if it was.... he would have never lied in the first place.

if he told the truth off the bat, CJL would have been fired much faster.

Duemig, cmhatter, Duemig.

??? ??? ??? ???

Just asking you to read/follow the post before commenting.  I didn't say Joel wanted Leavitt fired (overtly or otherwise).  Duemig wanted that.  He said so himself.  So drop the admonishments to me, okay?

I'll help you.

If he takes to Leavitt court and the court finds Leavitt guilty of assault and battery, the case is closed.  In no case have I ever heard that you can prosecute or sue for an "admission of guilt".  The court finds you guilty.  You don't then get coerced or sued until admit you hit someone, or robbed someone, etc.  It's done.

If Leavitt is guilty as USF says and they fired him, proclaiming his guilt to all, I don't know how Miller, pursuing an admission by Leavitt can be the utmost of congenial.

Do you understand that, or shall I try again?

I will let cmhatter answer for himself. Just have to ask if it makes you feel better to talk down and treat people like children? There are plenty of other educated people on this board. Just because they do not see, or interpret things the way you do, does not mean you should make your best attempts at making them look ridiculous

Maybe I should try using one of those clubs.

Or you could grab him by the throat and slap him a couple of times. I'm sure we'll all have a different story to tell...

i think it is the fact that CJL is still lying.... It doesn't matter what USF thinks... It matters that EVERYONE knows the truth from the man who committed the act. Regardless of what anyone says, without CJL admitting it there will be many who refuse to accept it and will believe CJL. I don't think anyone really wants it to go to trial. Best case would be for CJL to tell the truth... All three parties will be done with it at that point.

Can't say I blame CJL for going after his 7mil tho. If I was Leavitt i'd probably refuse to apologize too until I have exhausted all options to get my money.

i understand what you mean there, no need to try again.
