Terry Bowden has been a winner at different schools, so I bet he can make it work at USF. I still think that WVU messed up by not hiring Terry Bowden when he was calling for that job years ago. Instead, the Mountaineers made the emotional hire of naming Bill Stewart head coach. Stewart is a good coach dont get me wrong, but I think Terry Bowden would have taken WVU to a higher level. Just my gut feeling.

Agree 100%.  Look at the record -- won everywhere - and won immediately.  Look at the D1 transfers he put together last year at UNA.  If he can talk D1, BCS Conference school starters into coming to his North Alabama team, I say the coach can RECRUIT.

And with the way his dad was treated at FSU, I'd bet ole Bobby would be happy to come to Tampa and play some golf and raise some money for USF INSTEAD of FSU!

I personally think Bobby will be a Nole for life - but I hope i'm wrong.

Dude - get your facts straight.  It was Pat Dye who got Auburn put on probation.  They brought in Bowden to clean up his mess.  Oh yeah - and he went 11-0 his first season (won the first 9 the next season also!) while on the probation brought on by the previous coach. (And Auburn was like 5-6 the previous 2 years).
