On the bright side, we'll have some extra scholarships open for more recruits this year...

As already stated by another poster, these are emotional 18-22 year olds who will inevitably react and overreact to the news of JL's firing.  The best thing that the University can do is to get another hire in there that can relate to the players and win them over as quick as possible.  Too many days spent lamenting on his firing will only set them back going into spring ball, but getting some of them to realize that will be the tough part.  They have every right to be upset, but unfortunately such is life.  Let's all hope that the new staff is on point when they pull in to Tampa.  It wouldn't hurt if Woolard gets on the horn to the leaders of the team either.  Oh, and for the record, I think Erskin is a punk.

Some of the walk-ons I know are happy. They hated Leavitt.

That just strikes me as funny ..... if you're not happy, walk-off.  :-\

i don;t see any players leaving especially if they hire a coach with a great history and name.  Besides they would have to sit out and i doubt anyone will do that.

It all boils down to this, they guys who played are mad, the guys who didnt and think they should have are happy. The former players are gonna be mad also, but its not like they are gonna stop all interaction with USF, in the future, when USF is playing in a big game, I guarantee you see former players on the sideline.

Coaching changes are a part of college football, and sometimes give the program a shot in the arm.

It's a shame they couldnt have moved quicker, and got Turner Gill before KU did.

I agree, they all seem to be a bunch of whitebread, suburban f'n ******* who have been allowed to walk on and now have this over-inflated sense of their own worth.  I want the new coach to get rid of all walk-ons and then reevaluate each, if he so desires.  My guess, Joel Miller, along with his buddy Erskin, is done at USF and good riddance.

That is funny. Nobody wanted them, CJL gives them a chance, and they hate him. Erskin is a homo. "What happens in the locker room stays in the locker room" Then he spews a bunch of crap and he wasn't even there. Comical. Kick him in the knee if I see his little punk ass out

I wonder if Irkskin ever read the one about casting the first stone?
