Hofstra University dropped their football program today. We lost to them during our 1AA playing days. I alway wanted to get revenge against them. If you've been on the board for awhile you might remember 3r20. He was a somewhat obnoxious Hofstra fan often posting on this board.

Hey but we got the last laugh... sure we did not beat them but at the end of the day we still have our football team.

I grew up right around the corner from Hofstra.  no one in NY cares about college football..we have 7 professional teams with professional players, not surprising this happened.  Hofstra is a lacrosse and basketball school anyway, they produced some nba talent.  I remember playing them and them beating us.  But didnt we play them in their home place too?  So does that mean they beat us twice once there and once here?
