A bus would take at least 17 hrs. to get from campus to Rutgers, and that's no stops to pee, no traffic, no food etc.

I was at that Rutgers game too.  If we get 7 turnovers like we did that day, I am guessing we will win again.  I remember T-Roy taking a tipped interception to the house and then sucking on oxygen for the next five minutes.    dausf is right.  After we scored we stood up and yelled, "BOOM!" to mimic their cannon.  Oh, and we had a guy named Andre Hall in that game too.

I was the only green sweatshirt in a sea of red (wore my old robogoat logo). I tried to make as many friends around me as I could, haha, and commiserated with them when USF did well. Didn't want to get buried under the stadium and all that.

By the fourth quarter, the area around me had emptied pretty well, LOL.

After the game, I saw the players run into the lower right corner. That's when I saw you guys, but didn't figure I would know anybody, so i didn't come down. I should have, might have learned about the board earlier.

Now, let's go back up there and pound those Gnats!

SO here we go...

Lets say round trip tickets to the game are 200 bucks.  For a small pep band of 50kids plus 5 staff. They leave in the afternoon from tampa.  Get to newark and take a cheap bus to the stadium.  Finish game...get on bus...sleep over night...jump on first flight home in the morning. 

Round-trip flights from TPA to EWR = 11k

hotel($80 rate)= $1500 (some kids in band quad-up in rooms)

Cheap bus to and from airport/game/hotel = ???how much can it be???

per diem for band($40) = 2,200k

EQUALS $14,700(not including bus rental) dollars to get the band to an away game in the big east!!!

Why haven't we done this yet?  EVERY major program does it!!!
