Not to sound sexist, but that's not a very intimidating mascot.

Imagine if Notre Dame had a female leprechaun on the sidline. Imagine if USC had a girl riding the horse thru the endzone. Imagine if FSU had a female "chiefette" osceola.

Yes, the mascot this year is a woman. There was some discussion on it over on the Big East sports board back during basketball season when she won the position.
