55 degrees in PGH in late October is not at all cold.  I don't think the weather will be an issue at all.  Last Saturday's high was like 38 degrees so I think you are catching a fairly significant break.

This is looking better (Fri and Sun included for those traveling to the game). Hopefully the rain ends before game time. The detailed forecast has it dry during Sat afternoon with the cold front passing through Sat morning. I'm packing my rain gear and cold weather gear, that high of 60 may occur during the morning. Still the temperature should be decent for late October.
