How did the officiating look to you? I didn't have the best view, but it looked like an awful lot of non calls on Cincy (particularly on OL holds), whereas we got called for EVERYTHING.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but ever since that WVU game (was it 07?) where the refs were BLATANTLY trying to help the league favorite win, I'm a bit paranoid. Oh, and bitter

There were some missed calls but I don't think the refs are allowed to tackle their backup QB for us.  So I don't think we can really blame the refs.

I think the calls were a teenie bit Cincy biased, but not enough to make a huge difference. We lose this game regardless of calls on the field tonight. Maybe we don't lose by as much, but that doesn't really matter.

Yes, the officiating was inconsistant and oblivious tonight.

Now, I'm not one to jump the conspiracy theory deal, but when it continuously happens in USF's big games, year after year, it becomes harder and harder.

I was at the game and we definitely saw a lot of non calls for Cinncy holds.  Also, the crap penalty call from the ref who was on where near the play, I thought Leavitt was gonna have a stroke. 

Lousy calls in big games with Big East Refs continue.

I'm sure the jersey's of our D-line have permanently lost their elasticity and will have to be trashed.  The Cincy O-line bent them all out of shape.

I can pretty much guarentee Leavitt is NOT looking at that tape today and saying...if we only got some more holding calls.

You can call holding on pretty much every play, and it wasn't like the USF oline didn't have their share either.

First, let me say that I do NOT think the officiating cost us the game.  Cincy just beat us.

Can someone tell me if the refs got the fasemasking call correct that was called on Murphy?  The ref that called it was at least 30 yards from the play and I couldn't see from where I was sitting.  And of course no replay in the stands.
