Does anyone have a contact over there to make sure the top is green and gold for a national TV audience?

Go Bulls.

Didn't they put in LEDs last season so it's just a matter of flipping a switch?  I seem to recall them being pretty good about putting up out colors on game nights.  Hopefully it's just standard by now.

Yes, they are color-changing LED now.  They can have them be just about any color solid, or blinking in patterns, striped, checkered, etc.  It's only left to the imagination and someone to program it.

Well the Bucs play away the Sunday before, and at home the Sunday after. I don't know if we can infer the answer from that. I don't know how long it takes to repaint the field and have it be ready for gameday.

Suntrust was not green for the last home game.

This is a simple process now, it should be green and gold for every home game. If it's as programable as mentioned, can they do the iconic 'U' in there?

It's probably possible but there's not enough blocks to make it look good.  If it were a whole bunch of small blocks it would work out better.

When this has came up in years past someone here (on good authority from the powers that be) said that our game must be finished atleast 24 hours prior to the stadium opening for the bucs to allow for the field to be painted.  Thursday to sunday should be no problem.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
