What is with the band playing this song for 3 games in a row?

This song is just so uplifting and inspiring (not).  And they still don't have any rhythm after three weeks of this crap.

I think the glazers have some evil agreement with the band director to play a crappy half time show so that everyone gets up and buys some beer to get away from the sound   ;)

I think that, in honor of Ol' Dirty Bastard's passing this weekend, next week the band should play "Got Your Money" by ODB.  Anything would be better than that friggin Queen song one more time.

This song is awful for a marching band and is getting old.  The words they decide to sing are the most depressing in the whole song - "Nothing really matters.  Anyone can see. Nothing really matters to me."  Cripe - you are supposed to be motivating and exciting the team and the fans. Leave the singing to the chorus.

I happened to be standing next to the band when the game ended (daughter wanted to see Rocky), and I heard the director saying that they have to "learn" [insert name of song here] by this week.  So, maybe we're finally done with Queen...

Maybe they can play something remotely funky this time, like Stevie Wonder's "Superstitious" or something like that.

I remember they were playing Rage Against the Machine a few years back...

I really hope we play Florida A&M next year and they bring their band and they rock our field, that will hopefully make the band step it up a notch.

Since when did Queen fire up a footBULL crowd.  Three weeks of Queen is really sickening. Does our band not know any other songs?    :-[

They are in the process of learning a new show but it wasn't ready for this past weekend...hopefully for Memphis....

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
