Have been our halftime adjustments. Granted the teams we played, our coaches this year sure can give a peptalk.

best things about our season so far:

1) OLine is playing tough and holding the pocket.  let's see if this will carry over into the meat of the schedule [FSU's pass rush looked like **** vs. Miami]

2) Grothe looks more comfortable in the pocket and is showing more of the unbelievable elusiveness that exemplified his style during his first two years.

3) CMitch is on track to being our star playmaker at wideout

4) Lindsey Lamar. nuff said.

Grothe doesn't look like he's forcing his throws as much.  His 2 picks have been more of poor play calling

DB's look much better (even though our competition hasn't been the passing type) they look more in sync and confident

Daniels and Lamar are showing the future is bright!

They were both SLANTS where Grothe didn't look off defenders.  Happens to every QB now and then - they watch the first route because it's such a fast play they don't have time to look around.

we need to come out more prepared in the first half. The halftime adjustments are great, but this has never been out issue.

Our identity the past few years has been to sleep through the first half and then try to play catch up in the second. I would like to see us come out on fire ready to play, kind of like against NCState last year.

we just seem to have more general focus on offense.  we get a play called and run it or quickly audible.  none of that terrible get up to the line and wait for the play to get called in like we did with gregory.

that was very frustrating

and our depth on the DL is amazing.

our LBs seem a lot faster this year, just need to tackle better.

Starting slow, which shows me as a team we will continue to grow this year.  Sure, we will have set backs, but as the season progresses you will see growth.

I will be honest and say that I dont know how good or bad we are yet. Hard to judge against these teams when I dont think we were trying.  I will get a better feel after the FSU game. I do like the Toro Loco though. That can be a dangerous play.
