Guest
Well... we're getting Mountain West treatment. And it's our own fault...* No team in the Top 25... * No dominate team in a national championship picture year to year...* Most schools with very little recent football history...* Most schools with small fan bases who don't travel well...We need the Big East to win as many OOC games as possible, especially against BCS conferences over the next few years. We need two or three Big East teams to be Top 25 at the end of every season... with one in the Top 10.We need a Big East school to get into the "perennial" status... We need all Big East schools to sell every ticket to every bowl game...

LakeBull Posted August 19, 2009 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 765 Reputation: 8 Days Won: 0 Joined: 12/26/2001 Share Posted August 19, 2009 That is a high price trip to get all the way out there. It was a nice bowl when we played there, but considering the cost I'd rather go to Charlotte. Having the number two in Orlando will also be pretty sweet. Nice low cost location for us and we should have a great crowd. It will be interesting to see if CUSA keeps its tie to St. Pete or if the bowl opts to upgrade to another BCS partner. I don't want to repeat at St. Pete, but I think it will be a nice bowl with time.

That sucks
Guest
With the ACC #5 bolting for that opens a slot in Nashville... in the Gaylor Hotels Music City Bowl...It could also open a slot in the EagleBank bowl in Washington DC (ACC #8)...
