I was in the bookstore a couple of days ago, and they have these USF-FSU matchup t-shirts. The white helmet was on the design, if that's any indication.

White is right for FSU.  We will get our 40 points in White.  Will it be enough?

Not to burst any bubbles....

but those shirts are designed by shirt companies and not USF.

If they haven't even decided the time of the game, what makes you think they'd decide the color of helmet they're wearing? Also, USF will be wearing white jerseys at that game.

I couldn't imagine them doing a whiteout at an away game, and white helmet, white jersey, green pants would look dumb IMO.

Isn't white our away jersey?  White on white or white on green...that's what we wear to away games.  So--white helmet would look good.

I think the white helmets should be reserved for home games only (*St Pete is close enough) and it should only be done once a year and only for the big games. So looking at this year, it would be the West Virginia game or Miami game. I would go with WVU, since they are our conference rivals, plus Miami already has white helmets.

Side thought, what if FSU goes black-out for our game? Maybe we should counter with the white-out?

White Out versus Black Out would be kind of cool.

By the same token, FSU has gold helmets.

I won't disagree with your logic of wearing the white helmets once a season for the biggest of games. WVU certainly qualifies as that, but I would say that FSU does as well.

I think the white helmets rhyme with gay (for those that remember ECU).

I don't bleed white... I bleed green and gold. Why break what's not broken? If I wanted white and green, I'd goto Marshall or Michigan State. We are green and gold... Not green and white or some variation.
