Remember how CJL and the coaches kept saying that PJ was great in practice and not in the game??

Well...

UAB's colors are Green and Gold....

There were no fans in the stands...

PJ must have thought he was at practice!!!

Do you think ECU would mind wearing our practice jerseys and while we are at it we can have everyone wear red shirts or grey shirts and be really quiet.   ::)

No, last night's QB was too tall to be Marquel.

Maybe it was really Louis Gachette? No, he's left-handed.

I've got it now! It was Chad Barnhardt.

Great theory. Soo sad that our 1,000 or so fans accounted for more than 10 percent of the attendance.

PJ was something like 8 for 16.  The real reason for his success was that he only threw 16 times and we were able to run successfully.

We ran, we ate up the clock (so the defense wasn't on the field all night) and didn't put PJ in a situation to hurt us.

For us to have a succesfull season(defined:go to a bowl game) PJ will need to step up in at least two games.  I do like the fact that we are going deep much earlier in the game.  No sense in doing it when you are already two touchdowns behind.  Jump ball to Peyton where you would end up inside the oppenents 35 even with an interception is a good air it out play for the Bulls.  Best case TD,next -good field position and finish the drive for a TD or FG and worse case turn the ball over -same as an average punt.  Two outa three are very positive and third is not a disaster.
