  1. lob, is your girlfriend the reason for the bag on your head. You outa put one on her as well, that way we don't have to look at her either ;D
  2. Well Huzienga tried the second coming of the QB in Brian why not try the second coming of the Coach in Shula? This is Huzienga, the man that has ruined a great franchise "Keep the Tax rideoff". Huzienga the second coming of Hugh Culverhouse!!!
  3. I like being off on my, it keeps things interesting. I don't see SS going to the ACC, two very big reasons: FSU and Miami, he did not like playing them and does not want to play them "Sam I am"! I thought I heard that Saban has already said NO! to the NFL but you never say never. Shula does not have to go to Miami as a head coach, the key there is two losses in his last two games and if he makes it to a bowl game and he loses he is gone. Did not think of USCar. but I figured Lou would have a sibling setup there but it would put SS back in the SEC and they do have nice golf courses in SC. I just figure that Mike Price even with his baggage and Nieuhiesel (sp) will be somewhere in the mix for the UF job if not somewhere on the east coast. Another thing to think about is the Pitt coach or the WVU coach, bigger conference and bigger money.
  4. Ok this is how this all plays out: Myers wants to coach in Big 10, I say he waits for JoePa to leave or for Tressel to get kicked out. Shula to Miami Dolphins when he feels the pressure of losing to LSU and Auburn. UF makes a run at the USC asst. coach but the USC asst coach goes to Washington. UF thinks about Nieuhiesel (sp) or Price but then goes for Monty Kiffin. Since the Bama job is open they want to SS but he says no, so Bama goes after the guy they wanted prior to Shula...Yes, JL. With the USF job now open SS agrees to coach USF in a BCS conference and that way his kid can play in a BCS conference. This puts SS in a BCS conference in the state of FL and he does not have to play FSU or Miami. Plus with the recruits flocking to USF he can build a program that can go to a BSC bowl every year. I know is all sounds far fetched but you never know ;D
  5. Do you think ECU would mind wearing our practice jerseys and while we are at it we can have everyone wear red shirts or grey shirts and be really quiet. :
  6. Don't know about the Dolphins tho', already done a bad job up in the NFL but Wayne just may do it for no other reason than "because". I still think he could be waiting for a FL BCS school to open up with little competition in conference so that he can lead them to BCS bowl births too complete his legacy. You never know Shula may leave Bama for the Miami job which would then open up that job for someone that they looked long and hard at before.
  7. Not sure but when you have 10 for 86 I'm sure there were one or two. Like I said I was channel flipping last night so I did not see the entire game.
  8. Penalties were not horrible but USF average, I remember a DUMB one of lining up offsides and moving UAB closer to the goal line. UAB was going to score anyhow but for a DL to line up offsides is just beyond comprehension. LOOK OVER AT THE BALL!!!
  9. I liked when Craig James kept saying that USF had alot of upside with being a FL school and going into the BE. That HELPS recruiting, when the recruits here the announcers praising the school. Lets hope that JL can continue this progress the rest of the season. Also last night I flipped to Sunshine and watched some of a recruiting show, they talked about Hill and how he was a verbal at USF. They stressed VERBAL, they said that most likely he will go else where but they also mentioned that the reason he wants to come to USF is that we will let him play QB. The other schools recruiting him want him as a DB or WR so lets hope he was watching last night.
  10. A win is a win is a win ;D Happy to have the win, I agree that all went well but I think that is just one game. I liked the 3rd down conversions, PJ passed well but still needs work on his touch for the short passes, and well Hall what can you say ;D I liked the play calling and PJ looked comfortable with the calls, lets see this type of improvement every week and maybe Hall won't have to do everything on his own. Again great effort and game for all involved, no JL and staff our not out of the woods but I'm glad to see that they are evolving!
  11. I agree with smazza, another bad year he will start hearing the boo birds and having bad dreams of Woolard saying "You're Fired..." Sorry Donald but you can't copyright it!!! CFB is a business now forget about kids getting a free education they are there to entertain us club seat boosters and to keep the game corporate sponsors happy. I don't want to see "This South Florida butt whoopin brought to you by..." anymore. He gets next year to show improvement but if we have another stinker year well then...
