Community College center Jarrid Famous, regarded as the prize of the University of South Florida’s incoming men’s basketball recruiting class, no longer wants to attend USF and is seeking a release from his letter-of-intent according to Brett's blog.

If in fact Heath has not been in contact since he signed, that makes Heath look pretty shady. Either way this turns out, this is going to be another black eye for our hoops program.

its fine to have concerns but he should have thought about that before he signed his LOI. to back out this late in the game, knowing you're screwing the team you signed with is a joke. play a year here than if you don't like it transfer. if he isnt released, which will be the case if stan has half a brain, the kid should just play instead of sitting out and losing a year of eligibility.

Stan Heath was drooling over this kid. Please, say this isn't happening.

Let's wait to find out both sides of the story. We all know this lovely reporter likes to stir the pot quite a bit.

So he made up the quotes? The quotes from the people involved including heath tell me there is a problem. I doubt Brett is making this up. Some people on this board make me feel my degree is losing value.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
