People are actually saying the Rays would not take a top 3 player in baseball over Bartlett????? And we accuse UCF fans of drinking the  :KoolAid

I just said right now.  A lot of people in sports rely on the past.  Bartlett is playing lights out, right now

Ill take the larger sample size thank you very much.

Hanley is also 4 years younger which would play into any discussion about his worth Versus Barlett.

Bartlett's leading all short stops in major league baseball in batting average, RBIs, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage, and second in runs.  We'll just have to disagree.

So, which 3B would you take over Longo?  His sample size is really small.

So the complete opposite of what miamipunchingbag predicted ended up happening. The Rays dropkicked the Marlins twice, and then the Marlins were lucky to win one game in extra innings where they left about 500 guys on base.

there is more to being a SS than putting up good fantasy numbers.

hanley is good but bartlett is a team leader and the stats as far as runs scored and rbi's are always relevant to where a player hits in a lineup.

hanley has better power (although bartlett is showing some power this year) but bartlett has a better glove and is a smarter base runner.

when you take into account a players attitude and clubhouse effect....plus salary demands (hanley will walk out of miami as soon as he gets the chance)

i would much rather have bartlett on the rays than hanram.

remember we arent talking about a fantasy baseball roster we are talking about a real MLB team

No GM in baseball would turn down Hanram if offered for Bartlett.  Theres a reason why he's considered a top 3-5 player by virtually every baseball writing publication. Also a HUGE LOL @ you at even insinuating that you would take Aki over Hanram thats even more of a laugher than taking Bartlett over Hanram.  This place has the lowest baseball IQ of any place i post at.  Have a good day gentlemen.
