why isnt heath getting an extension and a raise?

This is great news. I hope we get 2 full years out of him.

But do we have ink on paper yet?

Verbal commitments can be so easily withdrawn, and if he's that good, folks will still be trying to get him to change his commitment

Because he hasn't finished higher than 14th in the conference yet ......?

That said, it's obvious he has improved this team a significant amount as head coach. Standings don't tell the whole story. I'm not saying we should throw the bank at him, but an extension at this point wouldn't be terrible. But I don't even know the terms of his first contract.
