Mine came in on Saturday.  Really cool, I like it a lot - but......

It came in a flimsy shipping envelope.  In addition to the creases/bends that many mention, Mine actually has a 3" rip in it too (the bottom corner.  Not sure what I will do with a ripped poster, but certainly won't get it signed or put it up in the office. 

I hope they make these availalbe in some other way.  I'd like an original if that is an option since it is a print of some kind.  Probably have to pay a lot of money to get that, though.  I'd take a nice litho instead....

They should have put it in a tube.

Should it say "2009 season ticket holder souvenir" instead of 2008?

The University of South Florida Athletic Department commissioned Alvin to illustrate this collage of past Bulls football players.  USF is printing 7,500 copies of the artwork to be given to the 2008 football season ticket holders.

The original artwork is 24†x 30†and is a mixed medium of Watercolor, Acrylic, and Colored Pencil.  Several of the players depicted in the illustration will be signing prints and the original.

Just a guess, but it looks like they may have actually commissioned it last year, but didn't get it finished / printed / whatever in time to send out

I was considering e-mailing USF to see if they had any extra for sale (that I could pick-up).  Let us know what you hear back from the artist.
