Unfortunately  :-\

University of South Florida tight end Trent Pupello will miss spring practice because of a lingering neck injury suffered last season and it’s possible the injury could sideline him for the rest of his career.

This is horrible to read. Especially considering how he left a championship team to play here. I really hope that he will come onto the field this year.  :-\

He was a good player, and obviously it sucks that he's injured period.

Too bad. Hopefully he'll make a quick recovery.

Good luck to Trent.  But I think we'll be in good shape with Hawkins and Busbee.

Busbee was coming into his own a the end of last year.  We'll be ok, but I wish Trent a speedy recovery.

Perhaps with Canales as our OC, that will change!

I liked Pupello and he seemed like a solid blocker in the limited time we saw him last year.

I guess this frees up a scholarship (unfortunately in this manner)

Hope pupello gets better!

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
