That was the interesting part to me.  Seems like a bright kid.  Too bad the maturity/common sense isn't there yet.

What would give anybody the inclination that Mercer is a bright kid?  You don't exactly need to be a genius or a straight arrow to be able to play sports at UGA or USF.  To be unable to do so at either does not indicate any sort of above average intelligence at all.   

This really sucks BTW.  Really...

This does suck... but we need to move on and take the high road without bashing Mike.  He has his own issues/demons to deal with and hopefully he has a good support system and hopefully Crater gets the message loud and clear.
