The bad guy organization extends into the FBI and the White House, and they were the ones that got the sniper. 

Bill, Chloe, Tony and now Jack are running the "undercover operation" that is trying to take down the bad guys and find the FBI and White House insiders.  Tony and now Jack have infiltrated the bad guy organization to stop it.

If Jack has this reputation of being a great CTU agent... and Emerson knows this reputation... why on earth is he trusting him?  Or is he really trusting him?  He seemed to give in really quickly.  I understand the loyalty to Tony... but Emerson changed his mind way too quick.

I have a feeling that Emerson is gonna turn on him, but with the whole Senate hearing that Jack has to go through, its not far fetched that Jack would do anything to get out of the country. but you're right, he did change quickly.

Yeah i gotta agree with you guys Emerson is definitely gunna try to off Jack or put him in a bad situation.  I was  ??? @ how quickly he gave in and accepted Jack.

Every once in a while you have to suspend believe with 24.  That was one of those moments.  No doubt Emerson only intends to use Jack briefly, then turn on him.  But even then, it was a pretty quick turnaround.  Anyway, it's not like Emerson's other choices were any good at all.  Jack subdued all three of them in about four seconds flat. Emerson wouldn't have succeeded with that motley crew, so he might as well roll the dice with Bauer.

Me too. It seems that all other shows lack the fire that 24 produces! Good tv is finally back which is good since fb season is over!

I came in after season 3... and it still hooked me.  It is that good.

I missed only a few episodes of season 1 but now have seasons 1-5 on DVD and will occasionally take a weekend to watch them! things to do in the offseason!
