Scout says he runs a 4.45.  Is he being recruited as a QB, I wonder?  That's some serious speed for a QB.  Whatever his position, though, that's commit #1 for 2010, I guess.

Hopefully, he sticks with the verbal. I believe Jared Fayson comitted as a Jr. to USF but wound up signing with UF after they offered.

Awesome.. I have been seeing a lot of this kid since he was starting as a Freshman. Like the OP said - he has been up and down. He is definitely an athlete though.

Ah, cool.  That, and the fact that he's been to a lot of games this year, including the spring game, make me think he's a pretty solid commit.

Most programs still don't have commits this early.  Only Rutgers and Cincy have 1 commit each for next year.  Not bad.  Was Fayson earlier than this or is this the earliest commit USF has had?
