seems as if phil fulmer is stepping down at UT at the end of the season (http://myespn.go.com/s/conversations/show/story/3679810).  what does everyone think of fulmer as an OC?  the man won a national title-- how's that for credibility?

what's wrong with phil fulmer???  UT won the outback bowl last year!  that's gotta count for something

160k isn't chump change we can get a good oc for that money or a 100% proven guy for 50k more  . Fulmer is an unrealistic choice, we really need someone who can run a spread.

Leavitt does not pay the OC nor is he in charge of Athletic Association salaries.  The Athletic Assn agrees to and pays assistants.

yeah I'm sure Leavitt has no say in how much his coaches make. you're delusional.

If you don't think CJL has fought to get his assistants as much as the Ath dept would approve, you are smoking crack.

Don't you think Fulmer would look to another head coaching job or an analyst job before taking a step backward to become an OC.  I am pretty sure he doesnt need to work next year and he probably has a buyout of his contract.

I guess its fun to just throw names around, but some reality is always a nice concept to add to a conversaton.

This post has no basis in reality.  Fat Phil will be a HC at a BCS school.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
