and then we wonder why HC's bail for better offers when they come........ What have you done for me lately? I hope all of you dont come crying on this board asking Leavitt to stay at USF because of loyalty next time A higher paying job with more loyal fans come calling.

Thats fine. He can go. He's not the only coach out there....Im not going to keep sucking on the tit of Leavitt when he keeps giving us mediocre seasons. Yes, hes brought us this far, but the question is, can he take us to the next level?

Maybe we can hire OLeary. LOL

Tell me who outhere would you hire? Who would take us to that next level?

I also think Leavitt is a great coach, but he needs to learn when to let go of his assistants.  Has he ever fired anyone?

Mag

From what I have heard Leavitt is not the greatest guy to have to work unver, maybe thats a problem with hiring a good name offensive co-ordinator.

Leavitt needs to make some administrative changes. If Gregory is calling the offense next year, we are ****** again. Leavitt needs to sack up and fire these ***** assistants.

who would he hire with our budget?

Not an issue anymore, I believe the coaching staff has moved up that ladder significantly in the past two years.  We need to dig in a build a offensive staff again.

I believe our offensive co-ordinator is among the lowest paid in the BCS

Maybe thats the problem. Maybe Gregory is doing a half-butt (thats for you bulliever  ;D) job because hes getting paid so low. Just a thought...probably not true.

Two things to consider:

1.)  I doubt the administration will do anything to a HC who has taken this program from non-existence to a BCS ($$$) Conference.

2.)  I think money (salary) plays into the fact of whether we can hire better assistants.  Maybe we are getting what we pay for.

However, one thing I would love to see is some former Bulls players getting on the coaching staff.  Maybe we need some assistants who would have the heart, desire, and history for us to win.

Has this ever been considered?  Would it be considered?

Agreed. Former players are the ones that know the game best.

Haven't been on here in a long time because I got tired of saying CJL WAS NOT the coach to take this team to the next level and getting bashed for saying it. Seems to me that the team pretty consistently wins games they shouldn't and doesn't win games they should.

So, what does everyone think of CJL now? Just wondering...

You know what I think?  Your opinion is discredited because you only come here after a loss.  You tired of getting bashed?  Poor you.

Go away again.
