Where's that post again about Matt Grothe leading the team in rushing yards AND rushing attempts.....?

This team plays it's best when it is in a rhythm. How do you get into a rhythm? You run the football. How do you run the football most effectively? You hand it off to your running back and your offensive line hits somebody in the mouth. How many running backs do we have this year? Wasn't the emphasis in the off season supposed to be downfield blocking?

One time I fired my sound guy halfway through a concert.  For some reason my voice sounded kind of screamy and whiney.

That was certainly justified, Michael.

I mean, with a voice as silky smooth and non-shrill as yours, it should be a cinch to make you sound great on stage.

I'm kind of amazed they fired him so soon.  He got hired to implement the spread.  He had no spread offense players and got fired before he had a chance to recruit some to make it work.

Too a degree Auburn was in the same boat as Michigan. They were not built personnel wise to run the spread at the moment. I really don't know what Auburn expected. It wasn't going to run that smoothly it's first year. It takes time.

Hopefully, CJL takes note! When a coach is not producing and the offense is not up to the head coaches standards you fire the OC and find someone who will do a better job. We have struggled to have a consistent offense all season, just like Auburn.

There is more going on behind the scenes.  With Alabama doing well this year there is a lot of pressure coming from the Auburn boosters.  Personality issues ma also be a problem.  Auburn is not abandoning the spread just the coach. 

It is pretty stupid to give a guy six games and expect complete success with an entirely new offensive scheme.  When you are not winning in the SEC someone needs to be the fall guy.

Knee jerk reaction.  Basically wasted the last 6 games.  Now they get to start over in the second half of this season and will likely get to start over again at the start of next season when the next OC comes to town. 

Not a very good way to attract high profile OCs in the future.
