Ever notice we struggle against Running-based teams?

Rutgers and Ray Rice

UCONN and Donald Brown

PITT and LeSean McCoy

much like the speed-oriented Bucs in their glory days, USF defense is built on speed and being undersized.  the way to beat us is to line up and run it down our throats.  something that is going on tonight.  we need to get big up the middle or something.

That's it exactly, you pick your poison, you either get a bunch of lard-asses to stuff the run, but then that slows down your dline or you go with the smaller faster guys who then get dominated at the point of attack...

I hate to say it but we struggle against passing teams too.  I don't think it was McCoy that killed us as much as all the times the QB was able to stand there, take a sip of his drink, count to five and then hit a receiver.

Yeah, it was their balanced offense that killed us, not McCoy, though he is certainly a good one.  I never thought Stull would outpass Grothe.
