You guys should have a good turnout!
Guest S. Bien
Wooly, its not about the enlisted Army for this game. It's all the retirees in the area. It's been estimated that the Tampa Bay Area has over 100k retired military in this area, partly because MacDill has one of the largest PX's in the Southeast.I can think of quite a few generals that are retired and living in the area like Franks, and Schwarzkopf. We've never had a homecoming under 30k in attendance, and with Army, good publicity, and a decent team I expect we'll easily surpass 35k, after that it's anybodies guess, but it wouldn't surprise me if we approached 40k. The plane ticket is killing me because we had to wait to see my wife's schedule, but it's still worth it...

I'd say demand to see Army is about what it would be to see Pitt. Probably the best turnout this year, but not 40K.

I'm hoping to see at least 36K.

There was no where near the 30,000 that the paper counted...
