I say "No, USF will not attempt a punt of any type" against Pitt

Pitt has struggled lately.  They were lucky to beat Iowa and lucky to get out of Syracuse with a W.  If Syracuse wasn't Syracuse, Pitt would've never came back.

Their defense has given up a decent amount of passing yards, so I expect Grothe to come out 5-wide and pick their secondary apart.

I don't think we'll need to. '06 was a fairly tight game, and our punting with Teachey wasn't helping the field position any. And last year, I don't remember a fake punt, but I know we started off sluggish before pulling away a bit in the 2nd half. I'm hoping we pull away early in this one.

It was a direct snap to Sam Miller and he got like 25 yards on the play, and I think we scored on the next play or the one after that.

No.

How can we run a fake punt when we will never face a 4th down in the entire game?? LOL

Read my mind
