A few years back I got nailed by a full beer after the Dolphins spanked the Bucs at Ray Jay... a Tampa cop witnessed it and did nothing about it...

this must have been preseason

Yep, but did not stop the Buc's fans from taking it over board by tossing beer at the Dolphins fans whom despite winning left early to avoid getting mobbed by sore Buc's fans.

My hubby got hit by a cup of beer as we were walking out of the Auburn game.

And I told Howie I was sorry about that...    ;)

The wife and I was walking back to the hotel and past a group of NC State students and had a full beer thrown over my head. What BS if you ask me. They stopped when I caught one in mid air, drank it, and threw one (that did not bust open) back.

They were clearly USF fans wearing NCST shirts.*

*sarcasm

Actually, it was obsessive UCiF fans impersonating USF fans.

No problem. He probably deserved it.  ;)

Hope it wasn't Natural Ice. I would have rather gotten hit by it.  ;D

I had a prety good walk back to the Ramada, sorry to see that. For the most part those fans were really nice, besides a few fans that were just bitter that we out numbered them by the end of the game.

Once we got around the stadium and on that side street it was all good but the exit we walked out was all NC State fans

That sux.

In and out, it was great for me. The worst I heard was "Go Home" so I yelled back "With a Win"

Most of the NCSU folks I met werevery friendly and welcoming

But nowhere near as great as the group of Bull fans at the Ramada. That was awesome.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
