We do not need two mascots running around.. Rocky rules. But, knowing the history of Rocky, when and where he got his name, the only choice is ADRIANNE!!!!!! Rocky was directly named from the movie. The athletics department stopped it because they said it sounded stupid. The female athletes at the time agreed with the decision. They did not like the term "Lady Bulls" because it inferred "Cows", and they did not like other teams calling them "Cows".Now, if USF reversed on this and started using "Lady Bulls" again, then I am wrong on this. However, I am 100% certain that they stopped using the term "Lady Bulls" for the female athletes several years ago. The last time I watched a Womens BB game on TV, which was last season, the telecast referred to the team as "Bulls".If anyone has anymore questions on this, then contact the USF Athletic Department. They will straighten out any confusion on this issue.
