I never heard them mention USF in the mix with Giddens.  They did say some USF coaches were at the game.  They also said USF had offered the Armwood safety, whose name I forget at the moment.

Indeed it is.  I believe ESPN/Scouts, Inc moved Giddens up on their 150 list after that game.  We already have Victor Marc and Ricardo Dixon on that list and a bunch of other guys that could make it on the list, not that the list is all that important.  Getting Giddens and a few others such as Eugene Smith could give us a really high recruiting ranking, and we've been doing pretty well without those.
