ACC Championship Game - Raymond James

Tickets are going on sale soon.  I know some of you have hard feelings about this game because of the TSA but if you want it to keep coming to Tampa support the game.  It does help the city and Glazers (sorry) a little.

Tickets will start at $25.  Not bad.

I hope that the ACC Championship game falls flat on its face. I understand how it may help the community, but having years where USF is playing in RJS on that weekend will help the community more.

Besides, USF-WVU is that day.

Depending on the time of the WVU game I may go to this. I don't want to support the TSA, but it's nice to be out of the band and be in the bleachers for a game every once and a while. And $25 isn't too bad of a deal!

I wasnt planning on going anyway b/c of what happened, and now that we are playing WVU that day, any USF game > ACC title game. To those thinking about going, what if USF is playing for the Big East title that day at the same time? I hope that is the scenario so the ACC falls flat on its face, Tampa hosts hundreds of conventions/events every year, recird attendance for Flugtag, SuperBowls, SEC Basketball tournament next year, Final Fours, NCAA regionals, Tampa will be fine.

Once the Ray Jay situation came about with USF playing 2nd fiddle, I didn't think there would be anybody on this board that would think about attending that game.  Just Don't Go, thats all I have to say about the ACC Chump Game.

The TSA really screwed the pooch with this one.  As a season ticket holder, I was offended that they mailed me an invitation to buy tickets to this.  Seriously, after all the BS surrounding how this was worked out?  Kiss my ass TSA, USF should get first dibs on all saturdays during the regular football season.

It was good counter-programming to schedule what will probably be the Big East championship game  against the ACC Toilet Bowl.
