It's mentioned here as well.

And USF, according to football spokesman Chris Freet, already has sold approximately 24,000 season tickets  about 4,000 more than it sold all of last season.

Meanwhile, FSU is seeing a 6% decline in ticket sales.

have you ever driven to Tallahassee.  its a long way from nowhere.  a night game means an overnight stay and hotels require a min. 2-night booking on game weekends.  just another reason that i continue to predict that USF will replace FSU in the BIG 3 within the 2010 decade.

I personally know of 6 people who are new season ticket holders this year.  After the excitement of last season it's no wonder ticket sales are up.

Yeah, I've been to Tally. In fact, I mentioned one experience I had there a few days ago in another thread.

I noted the FSU slide in ticket sales as an indication they are going in the opposite direction from USF, in more ways than one.

The slogan for season tickets should be "Get them while U can"

With Miami, L'Ville, WVU and an up and coming Natti program on the home slate in 2009, I think lower bowl tickets will be tough to come by.
