The Orange Bowl atmosphere was magifiently awesome, sometimes you could just feel the magic in the air.

As a physical structure though, it was woefully outdated back in the 70's.

Their situation is a bit different than ours. They can't paint the end zones for half of the season anyway, because the Marlins' infield dirt stretches into one of the end zones. The Dolphins don't paint anything on their field until baseball season ends and they take out the dirt and replace it with grass.

I forgot the Marlins play there. That field will be pretty USED and BEAT UP.

How can you tell the difference between the Orange Bowl and a pile of rubble?

You guys thought Auburn was cool, The OB is 10 x's more intense for a big game.

If by intense you mean worried that you may get a shiv in the back, you're probably right ... by any other definition, that statement is patently absurd.
