i dont think they would allow for a game that has already been played.  However, if the bowl committee wanted to sell out, then that would easily make for a sellout.

well, if we got that bowl most of the tampa base wouldn't have to worry about hotels or anything like that.

I can see it happening.

How many hotels will be filled because of the St. Pete Bowl? Answer: Not many.

Consider past close matchups in Florida like Miami/FSU in the Orange Bowl.

A sellout would mean a lot to this game

when you finish 5-4 and get embarassed in a bowl game in which you are favorite

you dont get muchrespect in this game

It seems all of the preseason polls so far have us around 4th or 5th in the Big East.  Behind WVU, UConn, Cincy, and Pitt.  That would be a big disappointment if that happens.  I guess the rest of the conference is getting better, hopefully we step it up more than they do.  With ND haveing a softer schedule and probably bowl eligible, if we end up 4th or 5th we will get the 5th or 6th bowl so we would probably end up in St Pete.

Are we really in danger of ending up this low?  I look around and think we should be 1st or 2nd this year.  Am I wearing green and gold goggles?

a 4th or 5th finish should spell doom for leavitt and the staff

God forbid UCiF pulls off the upset during the regular season, I would kill for one more chance to play them. That would be horrible if we ended the series with a loss
