I love seeing this article is still being brought up. It brings a big 'ole smile to my face.

Welcome to 2008.  You're a little outdated.  It has since been discussed that Notre Dame overreacted(according to ESPN).

Notre Dame did not a LIAR running the program.

O'Liar is no better than Barry Bonds. They are both proven LIARS

Yes cause a little embelishment is as bad as taking drugs that are illegal and lead to many nasty things happening to the user.  It's not like GOL was trying to become a surgeon.  It's football coaching.

Wow, you're off base.

Yet someone died on his watch with reports of folks saying he was riding the kid to the end...At least with a surgeon, the rest of the operating team would say something if they noticed something was going wrong instead of being paralyzed by fear to do the right thing and an innocent paying the ultimate price...

You're making an assumption that no one here can prove.  Plus, you've fallen a little off topic.

Our resident UCF obsessed Bull was comparing O'Leary to Bonds.

It's an insult to Bonds.  Bonds's actions only cause physical harm to himself.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
