Well, I never called out USF's program when Dorsey fell.  Can't say the same for some of my fellow fans.

Well, I never called out USF's program when Dorsey fell.  Can't say the same for some of my fellow fans.

Again, not blaming GOL for Plancher.  For that business at GaTech when he had a defenseless kid get hit by 4 players for missing an assignment?  Sure... do I think O'Leary lacks any degree of sensitivity whatsoever?  Yep.  Do I think he's a hypocrite for preaching character while having none? Yep.  Do I think he killed a player?  Heck no.

My interest in this story is purely the "how much is UCF lying and covering up, and why" aspect.

The Slantinel is making him look like a killer.  In reality, he is just a tough coach.

O'Leary is a good football coach.  He made some mistakes, but so have we all.  Just because have once used drugs doesn't mean you can't tell kids not to use drugs. 

You guys should lay off him a bit.  He certainly did everything he could to prevent this tragedy.  As far as UCF's later statements, I never assume malice when simple incompetence is a better explanation.
