Whos going?!?! And what is the offical law on public consumption of adult beverages???

They'll throw you in jail if you don't have a beer.............every year they say they will crack down, but I haven't seen it.  I've been going for the last 15 years straight and haven't seen any difference.  Last year had one of those bigass coolers on wheels, strolling around S. Tampa drinking beers and not once got stopped.  In other words, if you aren't acting like an a$$hole, you won't have any problems.

I probably walk 5k during the parade every year.

I haven't been in years, but the Hyatt downtown used to sell tix (at the front door) to get into the pirates & rough riders after party...  It used to be crazy.  Show up early.

Screw the parade, it's all about the invasion. I've always had more fun out on the water then the parade itself, and that's where all the action is.
