USF is back where they started at the beginning of the season.

The preseason vote was #35 AP Poll (28 votes) and #37 Coaches Poll (26 votes).

The final poll above shows USF at #34 (tied) in the AP Poll with 5 votes and #35 in the Coaches Poll with 6 votes.

**** what an opportunity we missed at the Sun Bowl.  I can't imagine the preseason rankings being any better for us.

Sucks, but we did it to ourselves.

Next year, we're #2 for longer than 4 days!

Sucks but we played like crap

Also sucks that cicny moves up for beating a terrible so piss team

We need to start off by beating what will be a top 15 kansas team next year which will get us in the top 25 early in the season

Hard to believe we were ranked #2 and then finish barley even getting any votes...who would have thunk?

They beat us....  At home no less.  Where we were able to beat WVU.  I think Cinci is a decent team, or we aren't, not sure which...

California is in the same boat, or worse. If they hadn't barely beaten Air Force in their bowl, they wouldn't have gotten any votes in the Coaches Poll ( 8 ) and even with the win, they didn't get a single vote in the AP.
