The coaching staff got a month to prepare a game plan and start their RS QB. In the UCLA and OSU game Oregon did not have the time to change their offense and prepare their QB for that offense.they had a month to get a QB who never started a game prepared to play a GREAT defense! There are also a lot of people that considered Jonathon Stewart was the 2nd best RB in the country behind Mcfadden. Funny what happens when a guy with that kind of talent, that was hurt for most of the last 1/2 of the year, has a month to heal himself. Earlier in the year Corso called him the best RB in the country. We played a legit National Championship caliber team. We played a poor game. Thats a bad combination It's very naive to think the BE is a weak conference based on our loss to Oregon.

A great defense doesnt get slashed like that. Their coaching staff used our strength,SPEED against us and after that our defense had no clue what was going on. that was sarcasm

Case in point, the BIG EAST lost the Mienke Car Care Bowl (USF to NC ST), the Gator Bowl (UL to Va-Tech), the Insight Bowl (Rutgers to Arizona St) all during USF's first year in the BIG EAST. The one bowl game that everyone remembered that year was the Sugar Bowl in where WVU beat Georgia when the game was played in Atlanta. That proves that everyone pays more attention to what happened in the BCS games. Right now, the BIG EAST is 3-0 in the BCS games since USF joined the conference which is pretty impressive. I say the state of the BIG EAST is pretty **** good right now if you ask me with both UCONN and USF getting stronger next season. Ask the BIG 10 about BCS games as they are doing terrible.
