OK, dual purpose thread here, we have a little down time, and it seems like a good time to beat a dead horse. So, since I am tired of the whole "what if we had won just one more game" thing...

Has anyone been to UL for a game? How is the stadium? I have been to Louisville a couple of times, but not for football. I am torn between UL or WVU for my away game next year (plus the bowl, but Miami isn't really a long trip).

I was looking up their stadium, and it looks like they spent 80 Million, and are doing a 65 Million dollar expansion. They have chair backs! So, MAB and other, please jump on board and let me know what you think.

The price seems pretty low for what they have, is it lego-ish like UCF?

By away games are looking to be NC State, UCF, and WVU. For WVU you can fly in to Pitt and rent a car.

No, but we will play there for the title game ;D

I am hoping for WVU to be the big away trip next year.

I went to the Louisville game last year and had a fantastic time. It was my first time in the city so visited the louisville slugger musuem, a must for any baseball fan. The stadium was definetly the most similar to Ray Jay that I had been to at a college game. It was my #1 atmosphere before going to Auburn this year. The fans are real nice, day of game they suggested where to tailgate, quickest ways to get in and out of the game, etc... After the beating one fan even said something along the lines of, "allright, I hope you guys dont kill us in Tampa next year".

We already talked about going to N.C. State next year along with ucf and fiu...  But I might have to convince the group to a trip to morgantown to beat those dirty hillbillys again...

I think by Miami they are talking FIU...The UL trip is very nice!! For me, next year will be NC State, UCF, FIU and UL also going to make a non usf trip to Anne Arbor. I would stay away from WVU, that is some hostile grounds.
