How is USF's season sweet if WVU wins the NC?  They are a conference rival.  We should be in their position.  I understand you're talking about making the Big East and us look better, but it's hard to root for a conference rival to win the NC.

windbane, I just don't think the normal conference rivalry hatred exists for USF. We've only played WVU 3 times how can we really hate them, especially when their victory makes us look that much better. USF came out of nowhere to get ranked #2, it won't happen like that next year but getting a top 20 or top 15 preseason rank next year makes future runs that much easier. The more legit the BE looks the more the human voters will vote for us, something we were fighting an uphill battle with this year.
