Apparently I remember it better than you guys, because with that TD it made the score 22-12, and that flag cost them a chance at putting the score within 8 (with a 2 point conversion).  It was a big play in that game.  They could have been one score behind us instead that genius really cost Pitt a legitimate chance to tie the game and send it to OT.  Way to go Darrell Strong.........you're a Genius!!

Amarri had a sweet TD in that game.  It was like a 50 or 60 yarder where the corner fell down trying to tackle him and he jogged into the endzone for the last 15 yards or so.

lol I remember that!

I was in the student section (one could still sneak in then, hah!) and we made Palko throw it away to get the Safety.  We ruled!

yeah, costing them the chance at the 2 pt was the best part of that...actually got to talk to one of the players about it and he thanked me when he found out it was me and my friends he was doing it to...and crambone...that was in the south endzone not student section

Nothing to add here except that you can't talk about last year's Pitt game without at least a token mention of Grothe's sure sack turned into 20+ yard pass. Too bad it was like 1st and 25 or something and it still didn't give us a first down.

One of the best plays I have ever seen in person.

Thats true, and so is Jersey Bull.  The TD occured in the South Endzone, not the student endzone.
