it was a hold

no, it wasn't.

they called TJ for a PI for jamming the defender up about 3 or 4 yards from the line of scrimmage.

the ******** part was that the flag came out as Marcus ran in for the TD, so it was completely inconsequential to the play.

Give the **** ball to FORD and have him ram it in.  You have 4 downs to get it in!!!  What is so difficult about that?  Grothe should not be trying to ram it in on the goal line!!

I haven't posted re: the refs all year.  But this is crazy.  Does the Big East president tell the Big East officials to make sure they screw USF out of a win?

What pisses me off more is when refs throw out the flag after the play is over. I've seen so many late flags in games this year, including in Bulls games. Why can't they just throw the flag when it happens, and if it happens after the play then the result of the play needs to stand and the flag can be forced on the pat or kickoff.
