This would be the best match up for both squads this year.  FSU is having a below average year and USF is having (what has now become) an average year; just above maybe.

Remember FSU is only USF but backwards!

Go Play...

By the way, to get here we must go 9-3.

Yeah, and FSU basically needs to be ACC runner-up.  Tough for them to do, but I guess anything is possible this season.

I'd like to see USF and FSU play. There are actually quite a few similarities between the two teams (good defense, inconsistent offense/kicking game; two quality wins; three winnable games that resulted in losses). It'd give us a good opportunity to beat one of the Big Three.

The Bulls started strong, weakened, and now will pick up the pieces.  We have an inside game Saturday - will be better than average there - Robinson (QB Syracuse) has cracked rib - will be quite sore.  The rest of Coach Robinson's squad has been consistently bad this year (but for L'ville).

Syracuse has spurts of good play.  The Bulls will get ahead early and hold off a 3rd quarter charge to seal the deal.  Then, next week at home, the Bulls finally have an 8pm start.  Leavitt and squad love night games - especially at home.  Brohm will bring the A game but after a W this Saturday we'll give the 12th man a final game to remember.

Closing out at Pitt - the weather will break and there won't be such a chill by Thanksgiving time.  We will play in the afternoon I bet and it will be around 50 degrees or so.  Pitt will fall b/c the hype by then will say FSU v USF in Jacksonville.

Florida State will win all but 1 more before it is all said and done putting them at 8-4.  The rest of the ACC will fall apart so expect bit losses by the upper Echelon.

Prediction affirmed - USF V FSU (the front to back showdown).

Only problem is that this year the Gator Bowl is 90% most likely to take  a Big 12 team.
