Ever since he went down against Rutgers our offensive line has went from serviceable to bad.  I would say hes the most important player that we have lost over the last few weeks to injiury and is having the biggest impact on the team.    Get well SOON Walter we need you back in a bad way so we can win out.

Definite well wishes...  Crucial blow to the team.  What was his latest status?

i would definetely like to see him back for the 'Ville (not that they have a D line worth mentioning)

losing Walt has been huge.  our OLine leaks like a siv, and Grothe is getting pressured nearly every play.

combine a weak OLine with a loss of playmakers on receiver (we need TJ back too) and two true freshmen and a walk-on in the backfield, and it spells disaster for any offense.

Actually, I thought the O Line held up pretty well against the Cincy blitz.  Sure there were a few times they got to Grothe (most notably on the INT return for TD), but for the most part they held up.

I wish they would quit running left though.  Carnes gave up penetration several times which resulted in losses by the RB's.  Get healthy soon Walt!
