What BCS bowl does the #28 team go to?

A good one next year because of preseason rankings.  The only reason UF is ahead of us right now is preseason rankings.  We both have 3 losses. They only teams they have beaten are Kentucky and...oh, UT.  We've beaten 2 top 18 teams, one is #7.

It is clear we weren't far from winning all 3 of those games.

The computers like UF way more than us (USF) now.  So it is not just were you start.

That is not the way it works, sure you can carry over some rankings to the next, but when it is well known that you lose so much talent on defense, and defense is your strong point, it may not be much of a help.

Why doesn't Hawaii have a computer ranking?

They only get computer points for being in the Top 25 of a computer poll...

There are Hawaii's rankings...

34  Hawai`i - 15, 31, 33, 33, 41, 51 ... the highest and lowest are thrown out... so they don't get any points in the BCS computer polls.

we will drop even if we win, the back half of our schedule is weak and that is why we have remained so high, but with a victory over Sorryexcuse might get us a few votes but our SOS will drop from 5 to like 20-30 or worse and we will go down in the BCS.

It helps, and we are not losing that many people.  We are losing really good CBs, MLB, and DTs, but we have decent replacements for all of them.  We return nearly every offensive player, losing only a few OLs, only one of which is a starter and has been injured lately anyway.  Finishing the season with a 4-game losing streak absolutely helps your pre-season rankings.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
