After the loss I was fully expecting the biased voters to slam us and get the satisfaction of "putting us in our place" by knocking us down into the 20s or so.  I felt like our real position was lower than we deserved but higher than I expected.

Oh, well, the rankings mean nothing anyway.  Let's just get going on our BE championship and bowl victory one game at a time so that we can put all of the tawdry business behind us  ;D

i cant figure how we are below W.Va again.....  we beat them, we both have the same record, our schedule strengths have to be pretty close cuz we play mostly the same teams.  Good job BCS. good job  :-\

because 2/3 of the BCS is human voting, and humans factor in most recent losses when dropping teams.

WVU lost almost a month ago... they've climbed back up.

we lost 3 days ago, so we drop.

name recognition and preseason position also has alot to do with it.

I have a hard time understanding how and why Oklahoma is tup there.  They lost to Colorado.  They struggled against ISU big time.  They struggled against a pretty avergae to poor Texas team.

Actually i sort of like where are setup right now.  We had the chance to learn what it is like to play as atop 2 team.  KU will go down soon.  BC will drop soon.  I am not sold on Oregon at all.  i don't see ASU staying undefeated. No way.

I can see us with a top 5 to 7 finish this year.  Not as good as a BCS chmpaionship (not 100% out of the question the way this year is going), but a good start for our first ever ranking.

I wouldnt mind seeing Kansas and Arizona State win out just to screw with all those idiot voters.

Im also fine with us being #10. I never thought Id actually say a computer can comprehend football better than some humans
