For instance, this year USF would play the normal 7 games in conference and then play SU and UConn a second time. Every year the two teams USF would play would rotate so next year we may have Cinci and Rutgers.Just wanted to see what some of you guys thought on that. Also, would a Conference championship game help out? It would see like at the end of the year WV or USF might be at #2 and LSU at #3.... and then when LSU beats X in the SEC conference championship USF or WV may get jumped because LSU just increased it strength and record. The only way to gain credibility with the blueblood leagues is to beat their asses in OOC games. Which the BE isn't doing too bad a job of now (25-29 against other BCS teams, including Notre Dame, since the league was "gutted".)Besides, playing some teams twice and some teams once would make the schedule unfair. Schools know we don't have a leg to stand on bargaining wise as far as getting home and homes and what not, because other schools know we have to schedule 5 OC games a year. Hence the Auburn one game away.
